I am writing to inform you that during a general assembly held on 27^th June 2010, the members of Friends 4 Fluency have decided by six votes for and one vote against to put an end to the activities of the self-help group, and to proceed with its winding up.

When I was young I thought only boys like me stammer. May be not all boys, just me. My sister did not stammer, my mother did not. Girls in my class did not stammer. In fact some girls were “fascinated” with my stutter, which I found quite embarrassing. Now, at 52, many of my opinions are changed. I know girls too stammer and they too feel embarrassed when boys tease them about it.
