Bangalore SHG Feb 02, 2014 meeting report

Hi everyone,
This blog is regarding our last meeting held on 02 Feb,2014

1.Abhinav(The leader),
2.Akash(The ever giggling photographer),
3.Sharat(The mathematician),
4.Then Arasan(The Decent chap :P),
5.Prabakaran(The Diplomat) 😉 as he describes himself,
6.Newly wed Anshuman
7. Myself(Karpagavalli).

What went on?
The first activity of the day was real
We had to grab our stuffs and
run…(did you notice it rhymes 😉 )
Yeah, you heard it right. We met at the usual meeting spot..
It was time for the plants to get watered and all the sprinklers turned our side.
Poor Akash forgot his stuff busy giggling at others..  J.
The activities then kicked- off:
1.Self introduction round.
2.Prepared speech by Abhinav.
3.Table topics.
4.How to come in time for SHG meetings.
5.Read a chapter on breathing.
6.Discussed on how to overcome basic difficulties faced by PWS in everyday life.
Things doesn’t end here.
We are definitely there to assist each other in time of need.
What more?
Here is a lovely song that Akash suggested when I told him I’m afraid to speak myself out.
“Stay The Same”

Don’t you ever wish you were someone else,
You were meant to be the way you are exactly.
Don’t you ever say you don’t like the way you are.
When you learn to love yourself, you’re better off by far.
And I hope you always stay the same,
cuz there’s nothin’ ’bout you I would change.

I think that you could be whatever you wanted to be
If you could realize, all the dreams you have inside.
Don’t be afraid if you’ve got something to say,
Just open up your heart and let it show you the way.

Believe in yourself.
Reach down inside.
The love you find will set you free.
Believe in yourself, you will come alive.
Have faith in what you do.
You’ll make it through.

This is my first blog so do excuse me if you find any mistakes !!

Thanks Karpagavalli for such a nice report. When I also written first time I made mistakes.

Thanks Abhinav for the great song! So relevant for us. I think, in the next NC, we will have a song and dance competition for all SHG – based on this song.. Let us have a trophy and see which SHG wins it.. I am going to get my gang ready straightaway.. 😉
