Bangalore SHG meeting 07/06/14

That
was very nice day. Little cloudy and the climate was little cold. We met at the
same place “Cubbon Park”. (Anshuman, Pramod,
Sharath, Nishil , Arun, Anupam, Sergey, and me Akash).
Meeting started something like
this,
  • General
    topic
  • Introduction
    round
  • Impromptu
    speech for 2 min/ person
  • Group
discussion ( We have to speak more or we could convey our words by been silence
    or in less words)
  • Paragraph
reading ( Book Apna Haat jaganath)
  • Next
    meeting plans

General topic:
We started our meeting with
general topic and people were enthusiastic to put there point. It was kind of
debate we did. We waited till 10.30am for others. Then we started our other
round of introduction.
Introduction round:
In introduction we have to say
our (name, place, company, and talk something about your stammering). We all
gave our intro well, and then we jumped to next activity.
Impromptu Speech:
In table topics what I
realized, when you go on the stage and you get a topic which you have done no preparation
on it. At that time your mind has to be more conscious and I felt my stammering
was also low. I was thinking, if we are able to conscious for each and every
moment maybe we can get rid of this problem.
Group discussion:
In first 5-10mins we were
discussing about “what we will discuss about”? All were gave some suggestions
and from that we pick out this topic. “(We have to speak more or we could
convey our words by been silence or in less words)”. This time we didn’t make
teams. Person could say anything on this topic.
We decided to talk on this
topic for 20-25mins but people were very enthusiastically jumped into this topic.
And they did well.
Paragraph reading:
We were running out of time, so
decided to read only one paragraph per person.
Next meeting plans:
  •   We decide from the next
meeting. We again start with breathing exercise for 30mins and some yoga.
  •  Mock Interview session.

In conclusion, the meeting was
good and we enjoyed. And at last I would like to thanks Nishil, who lead the
meeting very well.

Thanks,
Akash

, if we are able to conscious for each and every moment maybe we can get rid of this problem – totally agree with this deep observation.. Once we are conscious, old habits melt awsy.. Vol stuttering is based on this very principle..
