Report of hangout conducted on link 1 (Prepared by host, Dr Renu Goyal)

The hangout started sharply at 9.00 pm with 5-6 participants.
Each participant introduced himself by using one or more techniques.
1.When asked about their strength, most of them answered that being a hardworking person is their strength.
When asked about their weakness, they replied that stammering is their weakness and they are trying to overcome it.

2.About 2nd question, they said that stammering had prevented them to participate in co- curricular activities.

3.About third question, all the participants felt the need of controlling stammering after they entered the college.
4. About feedback of each other, I and other participants think that we should not give feedback about each other. 🙏🙏
Hangout ended at 10.05 Pm. Thanks

The summary of the Hangout is described in the following points.
• Hangout has started at 9.00 PM with 9–11 participants (3–4 new participants).
• Each participant introduced themselves nicely with techniques.
• When we moved to the second task, in which group members have to tell about strength and weakness of them with our mindset with justification. Almost all member tell about strength and weakness. “Most of the people focused only strength that is positively but in the long run, we should take care of firstly weakness and then strength” (that is my opinion).
• In the third task, we share our views on role of stammering in your carrier till now. Almost all of them gave positive answer. The marriage of one member from group was broken due to Stammering, but after that he thinks about controlling stammering problem. I myself think about controlling my stammering problem. When I was not delivered my synopsis presentation in front of academician gathering. In this task about 10 members positively participated. There was a lot of discussions in this task.
• In fourth task, we have to tell about role of stammering in our carrier (positive or negative on our own life). There are mix views on this task.
• At last, we tried to take feedback but that time, there are only 3–4 members. Because, the time at that moment was 10.35 PM,so this task has not been done properly due to my own fault. If we see overall, then we can say that there was a healthy discussion among group members.

Congrats Pushp and Dr Renu! Such hangouts can really do wonders because many of us have never talked about stammering and what it may have done to us in the past. When we talk about such things, they lose their “evil” power (“hold”) over us and gradually we begin to feel (and act) normally.. I mean, we begin to accept ourselves, struggle less- and we speak with more comfort and calm. That is the psychological principle behind: Haklao magar pyar se!!

Yes Sir…. Talking about our Stammering again and again helps us to accept ourselves.

day by day…. week by week….Month by month… Year by Year…..We are improving…IF you have any doubt… just look back how far you have come so embrace your life and your stammering… The more we resist it, the more it will persist… So make it a movement …. talk about it… whether on blog … on hangout … just feel how others are feeling…At the end…. You are not alone….Whole TISA is with you…
