This time we tried to host SHG at a different level. We decided to host SHG of all cities in Maharashtra at the same time. So we named it Maharashtra Mega SHG Meet.
The host of this SHG was Nikhil Iyer and Rohil Zalke.
This meet was attended by almost 15 people, the agenda of the meet was as follows-
1. introduction Round
2. Spot The Common Round
3. Open Mic Round
4. Communication Game
In the first round, we gave our introduction using any technique, most people were using the bouncing technique.
In the second round, the host made pairs of 2 people, and 7-8 such pairs were formed and in this task, they exchanged their contact numbers in the chatbox and they were asked to communicate with each other for 10-15 minutes and find out about their common interest and their journey. After 10 minutes they needed to speak about their partners for 3 minutes. The goal was to get comfortable with each other and have maximum interaction.
After the end of the second round, people opened up and they were more comfortable during the entire meet.
The third round was an open mic round and they were free to speak on any topic but only for 4 minutes. Few people presented a motivational story, and many of them spoke about their stammering journey and how TISA has helped them.
The fourth round was a communication game and it involved communication skills and more listening skills since good communication involves 70% listening.
In the end, the participants shared their feedback with us and they were very happy with the agenda.
At the end one of the hosts, Nikhil Iyer recited a wonderful poem-
