Did you ever realized the magic of Syllable by Syllable style speaking ?
Syllable style speaking will make you speak slow automatically because the phonation in syllable style will make us go slow in its very approach!
The slow speaking which we think we shall follow will confuse you on below aspects
1)How many words we shall speak for an unit of time.
2)Where shall we give breaks in speech.
3)Anxiety or keeping awareness on where to take pauses.
So for all these answers stick to Syllable style the very approach will make your speech slow down and attain great confidence !
New member in TISA Hyd town – Siva – he is thinking to do his masters.
The activities happened in meetup are
1.English phonetics book(by T.Balasubramanian) reading by every member very slowly – It helped theoretically how sound is produced from human body in depth and also made us aware on what happens when we speak inside speech organs.
2.Realizing the magic of syllable by syllable speaking – GovindaRajulu, Mahesh have crisply realized the magic of this style of speaking in the first attempt.
3.Encouragement from members to every speaker before starting a speech and on ending a speech – To take the weekend pill of encouragement we clapped for every speaker and asked them to enjoy our claps 🙂
4.Quiz on the theory learned – We had a quiz to test our listening skills.
5.Loud shouting activity – we will realize that we roar like a lion and shout like a King 🙂
6.Speech by new members on how loud shouting activity seemed for them and sharing of their experience.
7.Suggestions to a member on how he can pronounce vowel sounds with
ease by every member.

(July 29, 2013 - 2:03 am)Great! Beautiful outdoors!
Yes, like every technique- this too must be gradually taken out and used with strangers in practical situations. The core idea is: be comfortable with your technique and be able to use it in day to day situations. This is the CRUX of self-help, and can be done with a little determination, planning and HELP from a SHG.. Best wishes to all of you!
