Dont just put up with it- go out and EDUCATE!

Mini Communication workshop at Herbertpur
Dr O P Yadav from Varanasi, Saurabh and Rajesh from Dehradun, Rakesh from Faizabad, Umesh and Abhishek from Faridabad assembled this morning in Anugrah meeting hall. Pawan was the Assistant facilitator, helping sachin. Since most of participants had some exposure to basic techniques, we went through a rapid recap and practice session, followed by planning for the presentations in the afternoon.
The Community College runs a Spoken English class for its students, 26 or so in number. We were invited for an interaction with them. Here are the topics, everyone spoke about for five minutes, followed by question and answers:
Umesh- Use of Internet; Rajesh- Four stroke Diesel Engine; Saurabh- Performance Appraisal; Abhishek- Biometrics; Rakesh- Ritik Roshan; Dr Yadav- Role of society in rehabilitation of people who stammer. Pawan introduced speakers and chaired the function very ably. The students proved to be very good audience and asked some intelligent questions- including about stammering.
Lesson learned: we need to organize our ideas better, prepare well for presentations and keep the concepts very simple for lay audience. In the evening, the group went to Assan lake for fun and sight seeing. Everyone was on the front foot- charged and inspired by the day’s events.
PS: Dr Yadav, an Audiologist & Speech therapist, was here to get familiar with TISA concept and hold a similar workshop in Varanasi. We wish him God-speed and all the best.

Dear Rajesh- Hope you can now see, why I was acting strange and "tough" so far: I wanted you to EARN this experience, instead of receiving it as a mere gift..
    All the best..

it was the toughest challenge for us to speak in front of a class . But all fear gone away if audience support you.
thanks sir to provide us such a good exercise.
