Chandigarh SHG Meet on 7th august

Hi all, I am Sumeet Nagpal, a PWS :).. Today i am sharing my reviews on todays SHG meet which was held in chandigarh in Sector 33 park. We were 4 persons. JP Sir,Dhruv,Ishaan and me. I met Ishaan today for the first time. First of all Dhruv gave to all of us in written , the ground rules of meeting(too strict). Then we were told to maintain eye contact wid each other wid a smile on our face and to give introduction to everyone. Then a topic was given to everyone to speak upon it for 3 minutes. After dat everyone was required to give a positive as well as a negative feedback. Den came the main thing speaking tachnique of the day “BOUNCING”, then we practiced the technique in story making and introductions. It was good fun. We were given details about bouncing in written which was very helpful indeed. JP sir also explained some ways about how one shouls practice bouncing. After that we had tea and snacks outside the park and we discussed on various things including the specific problems which one face while he stammers and then we planned for the next meet and parted. I also want to add here that these meetings can be made more interesting wid more number of members. If anyone from chandigarh sees dis post ,, you should contact SHG in Chandigarh.. It can be of a great help to all PWS like me.

Next Meeting is on Saturday (13th August 2011 ) at 8 AM in Sector 33 Park. Please contact Dhruva Kathuria – 8968069221 , kathuria.dhruva@gmail.com

Wonderful Sumeet! Great journeys consist of small steps taken at a time.. Four people meeting once a fortnight in some park can bring BIG change in their own lives and in the society around them- over a period of time (no, not overnight, unfortunately!).
In Army their is a saying: Sweat here (during training), so that you dont bleed there (in the battle field)! I am sure keeping this in mind, Dhruva is trying to implement a strict code of conduct in the SHG..
Just go along and learn to enjoy it..

    Onward Stuttering soldiers!
    Glory awaits you!
