In many ways, 25th Jan was “the day after” for me! I remember having said to Mani at one point- Dont worry, if no one comes, I will still come and two of us will practice speaking to the waves on Marina beach! But I was worried. And, then everything went off so well and smoothly.. including my talk, with Sivasubramanian’s efficient translation (English to Tamil)..
So, we decided to hit the beach next morning. Hassanand, BK and myself. The sea reflected my own state of mind in the rising sun- calm, beautiful and full of possibilities. While BK and Hassanand discussed the finer issues of speech and related emotions, I ‘broke out’ in a jog along the beach..
Then, later during the day a young medical practitioner came with his brother; We talked for about an hour and then, I told him to regularly attend the local SHG weekly meets.
