EFFECT OF EMOTIONS ON SPEECH

A study has shown that those who stammer may be more emotionally sensitive and have greater difficulty regulating their feelings, than those who don’t stammer. Findings suggest that these may contribute to the difficulties PWS may have establishing reasonably fluent speech.
The findings tell us this is something we should look at. The catch is we should try to overcome our over sensitiveness in order to cure our handicapcy relating to speech.

true! PWS are always over-sensitive to others/circumstances.

    This is very true…
I think handling emotions effectively while speaking can solve half of the problems.
Handling emotions doesn't mean that we should not show our emotions. It is impossible for humans to be emotionless. The only thing is use them in a positive way while communicating.
