Today i stand , with openness about my stammer and facing my stammer. It has indeed literally been a sea change for me. Today, I don’t think of a tomorrow where i am not a PWS. I only think of a tomorrow where i can manage my stammer and i am confident i can do it pretty well. I never had the slightest idea in past that i can cope with my stammer and in such a way.
I am dreaming of a future in which self-help groups sprout out in Kerela and wanting to see many enthusiastic kerelite PWS in it.
I also take this oppurtunity to give my well wishes to all TISA family members.

(February 27, 2011 - 3:54 am)Dera Shorn- Thanks for sharing your wisdom and highlighting a self-help method, which is easy, accessible and costs not a single paisa.. It generates the sense that "I CAN change my thoughts and my world".. This is what TISA is trying to replicate across the country..
And this is nothing new, nothing invented by TISA: this comes from trusted western therapists, many of who stammered themselves: Van Riper, Sheehan, Reitzes etc.
Good, keep it up and spread the good word! You can add another dictum:
If you can facilitate a SHG for six months, you can change your communication for EVER! (I stand guarantee for this!)
