Lock & block of the tongue? Need a Blocksmith?

Locksmith? Being jailed in Britain? What for?
At first glance I found the news interesting and a little bit “hyped”- I mean, unbelievable. So I read the whole thing. It was interesting. A locksmith was taking desperate people for a ride. In a perfectly legal way! Until of course a judge used his discretion to question his methods:

The court heard that between April 2007 and September 2008 he deliberately targeted people who needed an emergency locksmith. His victims, who had been burgled or locked out of their houses, often late at night, were usually in a “desperate or vulnerable state”, the judge said. A number of those he preyed on were elderly, or women on their own or with children. Makowski would usually quote prices between £100 and £200 then eventually charge more than £500 and on occasions more than £1,000.

I began wondering if something like this doesn’t happen to average stammerer too in India? They are desperate for a cure. They have been locked outside their house. It is 1 am in the night! Perfect scenario for an enterprising therapist to step in to help! And since none of these customers ever talk about it (who wants to look like a fool? not me!), the blacksmith carries on their “helping mission” until the sun turns into a red giant! Is this not true of the stammering therapy scenario in India?

If people dont talk, this will happen more and more..

You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be really something which I think I would never understand. It just seems too complicated and very sophisticated.
