Opportunity for SHG coordinators

JP has successfully manged the Pune group for about one and a half year. Before that, he worked with IPWS/ CWS in a six month long sabbatical- formally learning counseling, self help, group therapy and group facilitation at Herbertpur (Dehradun). Running a Self help group is often considered easy- but is quite a ‘technical’ task and demands lot of ingenuity, self-motivation, endurance and considerable inner resources like self-less ness. It does not come by itself but one has to systematically learn it, acquire it. TISA has requested JP to set up online orientation and problem solving sessions for IPWS running a SHG or planning to start one. He will be available every second and fourth saturday on skype from morning 8.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. Sorry, No impromptu calls. Please fix the appointment by Wednesday evening (9 p.m.) by calling him.
