Once in our school our class teacher is choosing the leaders for different houses, he is asking questions from some students and who will give the right answer he will the leader of house then he asked me the question and when I started speaking I feel some problem and I started stammering then he told me you sit down after two or three seconds, he don’t know that i am stammering he thinks that I am not having confidence but I know that answer, but due to stammering I was unable to speak . then I feel very bad if i was able to give answer that time so today i will be the team leader of my house but my teacher didn’t gave me time it was very bad experience.

(June 6, 2012 - 9:29 am)I am sure some teachers are reading this and they will start giving a few extra minutes to children who stammer, in their class; I am sure they would realize that accommodating needs of such children is not difficult- and by doing so they are living up to the expectations from a teacher..

But, I think there should be some topic on how to deal with students with speech disorder.

(June 6, 2012 - 5:10 pm)@VINAY–PWS are eligible for any kind of job; the only thing is we have to find one and try out facing interviews.
Stammering is not a disorder bro 🙂 It is just another type of speech pattern, its just another way of talking.

Because this times never comes back. i am having also this moments in past, but i'll wasted my time by just doing nothing. i am sure you won't let do that.

(June 7, 2012 - 4:31 pm)Vinay : in my veiw you should go and explain your teacher about this thing and that you are willing to speak and just need more time than other students ,it's completely fine that he don't understand it currently but after you'll explain it to him he'll totally understand it.
