Well, today, we all initially met at lalbag.
It was a gorgeous Sunday morning, with the sun blazing down in all its glory ☀️☀️
There was a cool breeze 🌬️🌬️🌬️ in lalbag, as we sat on the grasslands.
We enjoyed a bit of banter, discussing about some expensive watches ⌚⌚ and few movies.

Godhuli joined us by 9:20.
She has been a part of Tisa for a couple of years. Today was only her 2nd bangalore shg meet.
It was wonderful having godhuli join us today.

After a short briefing, we embarked on our activity of the day- a visit to the famous Ramakrishna ashram, nearby.

Tapan rode on his bike like the Ghost 👻 rider!!!!
The rest of us (6) squeezed into one car and reached the Ashram.

Today’s activity was to embrace the silence. The silence behind and between the words. The silence out of which all the words arise. The silence / stillness in which everything and everyone exist.

We put our phones on silent 🤫 mode and entered the main meditation hall at the ashram.
We all sat in silence for about half an hour.
It was not about doing a meditation, in fact, it wasn’t about doing anything at all. It was just about being, there. Being present.
And just being the observer, being the witness.

We then walked to the nearby rock. And sat there for a while as well.

Hearing the chirping of so many birds, looking at the trees 🌲🌳🌴 around, looking at a few ants 🐜 around us made us experience the deep peace within us.
The peace which is always there, just obscured by the mental noise.

Godhuli had to leave, but not before being captured in a photo with all of us.

With our hearts ❤️💞 full, we then headed out to make our bellies full!!!!

We went to the nearby gandhi bazar. One of the vintage areas in bangalore, which has its own charm. It was buzzing with people and eateries.
We all had a sumptuous breakfast at Roti ghar- dosas, idlis, vadas- a pakka South Indian breakfast.

Now, with our bellies full as well, we finally had to part ways.
Few of us got off at the nearby metro 🚇 station, a few others at a bus 🚍 station, a few by auto rickshaw 🛺, bike 🚲 and car 🚘.

All in all, it was a fantastic sunday morning. We all met as fellow human beings, as friends, not just as PWS.
The magic of a Sunday shg is not something to be missed!!!
