Love Yourself

Have you encountered situations when/where you wanted to do something very badly, but you just could not for some reason? And then in the hindsight you try to post mortem it again and again, trying to analyze the reasons that held you back. That moment you infer that it was your cowardice that you could not do it, and nothing else. But is it true? Many PWS, who have been accustomed to belittle themselves since childhood have a habit of being overly critical about their actions.

Consequently, such a psyche leaves you mentally ill and a void in the heart.
For a change, try convincing yourself that what you did then was the best you could have done in the given circumstances. See the difference such an emotion brings. Your heart lights up immediately and the scar is healed. You suddenly experience a body that lost weight recently. Now, that is all about being happy. For those of you who scout for happiness and contentment outside, try searching it within yourself. Perhaps this is the magic trick you might have been looking for all these years 😉

PS: works for me !

And also if you have not been able to do something in the past. Do it now! Who's stopping you 🙂

Very young people sometime base their self worth on world's reactions: If the world is praising me, I must be good. And vice versa. This is how, most of us develop a deep seated self-loathing. Unfortunately few therapists are able to correct this. But then, only we can technically correct this- since it is we who provided a foot hold to the wrong notions..
More than love, we need to respect ourselves..

@JP, "who's stopping you" is something easier said than done. I have been trying that since long but somehow the fear of embarrassment or rejection is still holding me back. I am fighting a battle, but i am sure the war will be won ^_^

Its not a battle buddy. Its inertia which has built up over a period of time. The only way to break it is, hit it really hard and take action. In other words, do what you want to do. Is that too complex? It maynot be easy, but who said it is 🙂
