My cousin brother Parlhad is here for his summer vacations. He is 14 years old, studying in 9th standard and he too stammers! (TOO ? who else stammers ?? I too stammer :-). He read Izabella ( link) and then both of us shared it with the whole family by bouncing and stammering beautifully and fluently. After this, we went out for a walk where I bounced with two individuals to show Parlhad that its OK to stammer. I know it will take him much more time to really FEEL that its OK to stammer, but it was amazing to see both of us stutter shouting openly in our house. We also asked our family members to stop giving advices like take a deep breath, feel confident, speak slowly, as these don’t help 🙂 . Most importantly we had FUN!

I too wish I had a cousin like Jai when I was 10. Secondly, because of this post, I could read the Hindi translation of Izabella.. which I had missed. Thank you Dr. Sachin for your efforts with the translation, and Beata Ackerman for such a wonderful idea… ! What a way to convey a stammerer's perspective!
My best wishes to Prahlad… Keep up the spirits 🙂
