"techniques offered to get rid of the problem.."..
The techniques we share are "stuttering modification" type- They help us to modify our stammering in a forward moving, comfortable & transparent fashion, rather than getting rid of them altogether..
Anyway, as long as media gives stammering its due, who would mind?
