BLR SHG meeting (10 Nov 2019)

Attendees: Anna, Ravi, Sudhanshu, Uttam, Naman, Dibya Ranjan, Veer Shekar, Vigneswar
Venue: Cubbon Park, near central library.
Time: 10 AM to 1 PM

We started our meeting in our small hut with a pleasant weather at Cubbon park.
We started our meet with introduction, we introduced ourselves, spoke about our respective professional experience, and answered the questions asked by fellow PWS.
Next we moved to the impromptu talk round, where we spoke on a given topic for 2 minutes. Most of the topics were focussed mainly on environment focussed and it was a great experience talking about these subjects.
We then moved on to group discussion round.
Topic for discussion was how to rejuvenate our rivers. Our discussion had touched on forestation, preserving lakes, interlinking rivers, rainwater harvesting, irrigation methods to conserve water, recycling of water in city apartments and many more. Each one of shared our thoughts and learned much more than from others’ thoughts. It was a great learning experience by sharing thoughts and hearing other opinions.
It was a great meet and finally we wrapped up the meeting with a selfie.
