Facilitators Workshop in Mumbai: 27-28 Nov

Dear Friends – Helped by SPEAK, TISA is taking a step forward by organizing FIRST time a facilitation workshop. As you know- to run a Self help group, you need special skills: Facilitation and Peer counseling. So, in this workshop we will be focusing on these two skills, to ensure that participants go back as better Facilitators of SHGs. If you could not participate this time, try next workshop. We plan to have more such workshops in other parts of the country as well. As you know, good SHGs can benefit everyone involved and society at large.. Thx. (Ed.)

Date: 27-28 November (Friday & Saturday)

Location: Mumbai (specific venue to be decided soon)

Agenda: A Training-of-Trainers Workshop to empower current and future SHG facilitators to develop deep knowledge of stammering, a pathway to work on their own stammering, and peer counseling skills.

Cost: Free. You will have to cover your own accommodation and food (lunch is available for Rs. 50 on Nov 27 & 28). If you are looking for accommodation, first option is staying with Mumbai SHG members. Second, Kamal is trying to book rooms in the IIT guest house. Third, OYO Rooms near Sakinaka.
