TISA Patna SHG Meeting Report – 24 August 2026

On 24 August 2026, the TISA Bihar SHG meeting was successfully conducted with the participation of five members. The session was a wonderful mix of communication practice, confidence-building, physical activities, fun, and constructive feedback.

Participants

  • Jitendra
  • Shyam
  • Shubham
  • Mohit Kumar
  • Suraj

5-Minute Meditation

The meeting started with a 5-minute meditation session. It helped everyone feel calm, relaxed, and focused before beginning the activities.

Introduction with Power Technique

After meditation, all participants introduced themselves using the Power Technique, which we had learned from Sachin Sir.

It was a good opportunity for everyone to practise the technique while introducing themselves to the group.

Speaking Activity: Why Are Mentors and Teachers Important?

Jitendra suggested an interesting question:

“Why are mentors and teachers important in life?”

Each participant was given around 2 minutes to speak on the topic while using the techniques they have been practising.

During this activity, Shyam also joined the meeting, adding another participant to the ongoing interaction.

Namaste Round Circle Game

Next, we participated in a physical activity suggested by Shubham—the Namaste Round Circle Game.

The activity was highly interactive and physically tiring, but everyone enjoyed it. It also brought a lot of energy and fun to the session.

Tongue Twister Practice

Mohit then suggested a Hindi tongue-twister activity.

Everyone took turns practising different tongue twisters, including:

The activity was challenging, fun, and encouraged everyone to practise speaking with greater clarity and confidence.

Impromptu Speaking with Self-Recording

The group then moved on to an impromptu speaking session.

Each participant received a topic and had to speak for 2 minutes.

But this time, we added an interesting challenge: everyone recorded their speech using their front camera.

This allowed participants to observe themselves while speaking and notice their delivery, expressions, body language, and other areas for improvement.

Constructive Feedback Round

The meeting ended with a feedback round.

Every member gave constructive feedback to the other participants. This is an important part of our SHG meetings because feedback helps us understand where we are improving and where we can do better.

A Meaningful Session of Learning and Fun

The 24 August SHG meeting was a great combination of practice, learning, interaction, physical activity, self-observation, and fun.

The active participation of everyone made the session enjoyable and meaningful.

We ended the meeting with positive energy and dispersed with new learning to carry forward.
