Truths in the Mirror

A deep part of me knows that there is no going back, the old ways in which our society has survived have come to an end as well as how we relate to others and to ourselves.

Our apparently solid paradigm dissolves, and with it our personal identity.

Who are we, if we are not our possessions, our personal history, or our likes and dislikes? the great question that arises in the midst of the “existential crises”, in the midst of the uncomfortable silence to which we are not accustomed and from which we constantly try to escape with distractions…

It seems that not only the system has stopped, but the incessant external activity that drove us crazy.

Now is the time to deal with all the inner chaos, to find answers in ourselves, to find an anchor within us that allows us to stand firm in the face of the external storm; it is time to look at each other closely and recognize that fragility is also a strength.

Every end in life has a duel and it is part of the process to feel sometimes that we are not going anywhere.

When the old structure crumbles, new foundations must be built.

Today I have seen my reflection in the mirror and I knew with a clear difference that what I was yesterday is part of a story that is quickly dissipating, and I wonder, what are those that prevent us from accepting reality as it is? fear of change!, fear of not having control over the circumstances around us…

Deciding to surrender is a matter of bravery and yet the wisest way to break the panic.

The phrase “we have only one life” is nothing new. But today it has so much meaning for me, that it seems stupid to waste seconds of my fleeting existence holding on what is perishable and impermanent!

Ladies and gentlemen, it is time to embrace change and all the positive things that come with it.
