Today we had an amazing session hosted by Vishal Mishal from Mumbai SHG.
It was attended by Vishal, Rohil, Dhruv, Shreya, Mansi Mam, Mokshit, Allwin , Arun, Prasad, and yours truly. We began the session with an introduction.
Then we had our presentation topics.
Vishal started the session by speaking about Mucormycosis, about endemic, epidemic, and pandemic.
He also spoke about black fungus being declared an epidemic. Then what are the types of Mucormycosis. He also shared about the Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897 and the Penalty of Disobedience.
Vishal being from A Pharma background and he has also completed his master’s in pharmacy. He is the ideal person in sharing in-depth about each point and covered it in detail.
Vishal answered all the questions too very well asked by Alwin, Mansi Mam, Rohil, and Arun. It was an amazing session.
Post this, the next session was by Mokshit.
Mokshit spoke about an interesting topic-> Are we happier than our previous generations?
We in this generation, we are using mobile phones more and more, children are playing games on the mobile, everything has become online these days. Even sitting in the same room, we are busy doing something online by chatting with friends, being there on laptop or mobile phone.
In the previous generation, there was more of book reading, children used to go out and play games which is missing these days.
Mokshit answered all the questions too very well and Mansi Mam made some important points too about the previous generations and how different was today’s generation.
Moskhit spoke very well being his first SHG presentation. He was too good with the content and communication skills.
After this, Allwin shared the Importance of Zodiac Signs.
About 12 zodiacs–> Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and, Pisces.
Alwin shared about the importance of each zodiac sign, its significance and, also which famous personalities belonged to those zodiacs.
We came to know that apart from being a renowned advocate, Alwin knew well about astrology too and after his session, we too have become astrologers. 🙂
Post this, I spoke about Inferiority Complex–> Its symptoms, how it affects stammering mindset, how do we need to control it, how it can affect our interviews and, what should be our approach to deal with it with some examples.
After this Rohil spoke about the book–> How to win friends and Influence People – Dale Carnegie.
Techniques in Handling People, Six Ways to make people like you, Win people to your way of thinking, Be a leader: How to change people without giving offense or arousing resentment, the secret of being a great leader, the myth of being a leader and biggest myth of being a good communicator.
Rohil being an avid reader, spoke in-depth of the book and his presentation was full of information. He was too good and presented very well.
The whole meeting was memorable and we never knew how 3 hrs passed by. It was an amazing Sunday evening.
This event not only helped us in improving our communication skills but it also gave us a lot of knowledge on different topics.
