Mysuru SHG Meeting Report – 14.10.18

Venue: Saugandhika Udyanavana (ಸೌಗಂಧಿಕ ಉದ್ಯಾನವನ), Mysuru.

Hello Dear Friends,

This week Sunday (14.10.18) SHG meeting was held in a new location, due to the World famous Dasara celebration going on in Mysuru. This new location was better for SHG meeting compared to the previous location in Mysuru. The meeting began with introduction round- introduced name using bouncing and prolongation techniques. Purushottam has joined his M.Tech (Civil Engineering field) course this month and he shared his experiences of it.

Shivaraj who attended Bengaluru NC shared his thoughts and experience with other participants. Shivaraj felt he has gained confidence after NC and is not avoiding certain speaking situations which he used to avoid earlier. He realized, what we say? (Good content) in the communication is very important despite of having few blocks and repetition of words.

After completing the introduction and sharing from Shivaraj, we had a brief talk about how our week was after resuming SHG meeting last week (07.10.2018). We spoke about the new things we did this week, what we had learned and most importantly what inspired each individual this week?. The idea was to highlight positive aspects of our day-to-day life.

Later each of us spoke about Mysuru Dasara topic in Kannada and English languages for 2-3 mins. We also made the video of it. I think as its Dasara season in Mysuru, it became mandatory to talk about it. Participants have wonderfully explained the colors of this festival seasons. Lastly, we later did a few breathing exercises and 12 min meditations before ending up this week SHG meeting.
