Pune SHG: 05-Sep-10

we at Pune met on sunday yet again for a vaue adding meeting. This is a place where i am always keen to attend to meet like-minded people. The meet was attended by JP, Manohar, Devang, Suraj and Mahesh.

we started off with 5 mins meditation. we then did a round of brief introduction using any speech technique. Then we played an energizer called “Aayi bole” and had a great laugh and fun. Then we had a round of impromptu speaking keeping in mind the essential points to keep in mind viz. content, delivery and body language. All the speeches were then evaluated by Manohar one by one and each member was given objective/critical feedback. at this stage we realized that there was still some time. So we conducted a round of mock interviews. Again, at the end of this session, each member gave feedback to every other person as to what to say what not to, especially in a corporate interview.

I am sure this was a great learning experience for all of us. Later we all went out together and had delicious lunch.
Thereafter we parted ways promising to meet again next time at the same venue and time.
